For some reason, I spent all my spare time last week sleeping. Then I tried to relax further by playing TS3 all weekend, which worked out well. However, then dreaded Daylights Savings Time struck, and even though I got a lot of rest last week, I am now exhausted and sleeping in all my spare time. Which isn't as much as last week, since it was spring break for my sister, so she didn't need to be driven to classes a lot. D:
I feel like I never update, and as soon as I started typing, PPJ said, "I want computer. Yo Gabba Gabba." This translates to, "Give me your damn computer, mom, because I want to get on the Yo Gabba Gabba website RIGHT NOW!" So I am going to give in because I need to go back to sleep now anyway. Hopefully everyone is well out there.

Date: 2012-03-14 04:25 pm (UTC)Are you really effected by Daylight Savings Time then? It's never really bothered me except I might be hungry an hour earlier than normal when the clocks go back in winter. Our clocks go forward on the 25th March.

Date: 2012-03-23 02:57 am (UTC)She also can use an ipod, ipad, my Android smartphone, the Nintendo DS, mostly by herself. She does try to play games that are too sophisticated for her (Hotel Dusk, Rune Factory) but she seems to enjoy just messing with them. She has more trouble with Wii games where you have to point the remote at the tv to make something happen but she can play other games on them (although she is not allowed to use that by herself).
Anyway, I'm rambling; long story short, she's very good at using technology, mostly because her parents are computer dorks I think. Although I would say most kids are pretty good at it these days.
And yes, DST messes me up badly. Part of it is PPJ doesn't go by clocks, having ASD, so it takes her a week or two to start getting on the new time. When we gain an hour it's easier than losing it, but it's still disruptive and she doesn't sleep so well anyway. D:

Date: 2012-03-26 11:57 am (UTC)Hope you have adjusted to DST now. Our clocks went forward yesterday and it was good for me as it meant I could eat and got to sleep an hour earlier than the day before. :)
