It might not be the best thing for you to cold text your co-worker who had a miscarriage an ultrasound picture to announce that you are pregnant. Just sayin'.
That is thoughtless, I would have felt upset if someone had did that to me after we lost our first baby. I remember a friend of a friend moaning on Facebook about being tired and hormonal a couple of weeks after my miscarriage and I was pretty angry - I would have done anything to be pregnant like her and feeling tired and hormonal. I just didn't want to hear about anyone having babies at all.
I work with three people who are pregnant and one person who just had a baby, so that's pretty bad to start with, but I can usually deal with it. This was bad, because of course the last ultrasound I had was when they told me the baby was gone. This person is just an airhead and didn't think about it, but it kind of ruined my weekend anyway.
I'm lucky I didn't have to cope with people at work or friends being pregnant at that time though I remember crying when David said his cousin's girlfriend was expecting as they were only 19. It felt really unfair. Did you say anything to the "airhead" about it? I'm not sure how restrained I would have been in that situation.
